Beaverdam Lake-Salisbury Mills was a census-designated place (CDP) in Orange County, New York, United States. It encompassed a region in the corner of the towns of Blooming Grove, Cornwall, and New Windsor. As of the 2000 census, its population was 2,779. For the 2010 census, the area was counted as two separate CDPs: Beaver Dam Lake (pop. 2,242) in the towns of Blooming Grove and New Windsor and Salisbury Mills (pop. 536) in the towns of Blooming Grove and Cornwall.

Little Britain, New York
Little Britain, New York is an area in Orange County. The name spread to the surrounding region, which at that time was part of Ulster County, New York. It is in the Town of New Windsor. It was settled by Charles Clinton (et al. ) in 1731, who in 1729 resolved to emigrate to British America and having persuaded a number of his friends and relatives to join him, he chartered a ship, for the purpose of conveying his colony to Philadelphia.
