Hamlet, New York is a hamlet located in the Town of Villenova in Chautauqua County, New York, USA. It has a population of approximately 80 and is at an elevation of 1398 ft (426 m) above sea level. Hamlet was an historic railroad junction. The community is in the south part of the town, located on Route 83 at the junction of South Hill and North Hill Roads. Forestville is a village in Chautauqua County, New York, United States. The population was 697 at the 2010 census. The Village of Forestville is within the Town of Hanover and in the northeast part of the county. The Forestville Apple Festival is held yearly, the first weekend in October. It features products from the apple harvest, a craft fair, parade, special events and a harvest dinner. The "Bell Tower" at the High School is the oldest standing brick structure in the north county.

Laona is a hamlet in Chautauqua County, New York, United States, near the village of Fredonia. It is part of the town of Pomfret, New York and New York State Route 60 runs through it. Laona is at an elevation of 850 ft (259 m) above sea level. Laona has been an area of importance to Spiritualist groups since the mid-19th century. Spiritualism began there in the winter of 1844-45 and over the next several years, a number of mediums converged there.
