Hawk's Nest, New York

Hawk's Nest is a scenic location outside Port Jervis, New York. Its name is derived from the birds of prey that nest in the area. The location is also known for its winding roads and scenic overlooks in the Delaware River valley. New York State Route 97, which traverses the site, was originally a one-lane dirt road beginning in 1859.

Port Jervis (Metro-North station)

The Port Jervis Metro-North station serves the residents of that city and surrounding communities. It is the western terminus of the Port Jervis Line, with trains taking New York City-bound passengers there via Hoboken and Secaucus Junction. Travel time to New York is approximately 2.5 hours. Located slightly off US 6 and 209 in downtown Port Jervis, it is the westernmost station in the Metro-North system.

Mid-Delaware Bridge

The Mid-Delaware Bridge, sometimes known as the Port Jervis-Matamoras Bridge or the Fourth Barrett Bridge, is a continuous truss bridge which carries U.S. Routes 6 and 209 across that river between those two communities and thus the states of New York and Pennsylvania. It is the only four-lane bridge on the upper main stem of the Delaware.
