Watertown Air Force Station

Watertown Air Force Station is a closed United States Air Force ADCOM General Surveillance Radar station 3.5 miles south of Watertown, New York. Prior to the Air Defense squadron deactivating on 1 November 1979, the station was reassigned to Tactical Air Command which maintained the Ground Air Transmitter Receiver until early 1984 (now a firefighter training site). A New York State jail opened at the site c.  1983.

WCIZ-FM

WCIZ-FM is a classic hits radio station in Watertown, New York. Around early 2000, the station changed formats from classic rock to classic hits. WCIZ-FM went on the air in the summer of 1988, the station originally began broadcasting at 97.5 FM which later moved to a new frequency on 93.5 in 1997 and changed to its current frequency at 93.3 FM in 1999. Prior to WCIZ-FM's move to 93.5 from 97.5, the station was a CHR station known as WTNY-FM "T-93 FM" which began broadcasting in the 1980s.

WFRY-FM (branded as Froggy 97) is a radio station serving the Watertown area of New York with a Modern Country format. It broadcasts on FM frequency 97.5 MHz and is under ownership of Stephens Media Group. Froggy 97 signed on January 6, 1997, after the 97.5 frequency was formerly occupied by WCIZ-FM until it moved to 93.5 FM. The original airdate of WCIZ is unknown.

Worth is a town in Jefferson County, New York, United States. The population was 231 at the 2010 census. The town is named after William Worth, a commander of troops during the Battle of Sackett's Harbor. The Town of Worth is located in the southeast corner of the county and is south of Watertown.
