Nineveh is an unincorporated hamlet with about 50 homes on the banks of the Susquehanna River in New York. It is part of the Town of Colesville, Binghamton metropolitan area in eastern Broome county. Nineveh is located on the USGS Afton quadrangle at an elevation of about 960 feet. Nineveh takes its name from ancient Nineveh, the most important city on the Tigris River in the ancient kingdom of Assyria (now Iraq).

The village is named after the poem "flow gently sweet Afton" referring to the River Afton in Ayershire, Scotland. Deposit is a village in Broome and Delaware counties in the U.S. state of New York. The population was 1,663 at the 2010 census. The Village of Deposit, on the county line, is partly within the Town of Sanford (Broome County) and the Town of Deposit (Delaware County). Oquaga Creek State Park

Oquaga Creek State Park is a state park in Broome County and Delaware County, near their border with Chenango County, in New York in the USA. The park is partially in the Town of Masonville and partly in the Town of Sanford. Broome County Road 241 passes through the park. The Oquaga Creek passes through the park and eventually empties into the West Branch of the Delaware River, near Deposit. Oquaga Creek State Park has 95 campsites and 1 cottage.
