Flanders is a hamlet and a census-designated place (CDP) in Suffolk County, New York, United States. The population was 4,472 at the 2010 census. It is the location of the Big Duck. It is located in the town of Southampton on the south side of the Peconic River at its mouth in Peconic Bay. Riverhead is across the river to the north.

Wildwood Lake (New York)

Wildwood Lake is a natural lake located in Suffolk County on Long Island in Northampton near Riverhead, New York, USA. The lake was formed by glaciers during the last Ice age. There is a variety of fish species present in the lake, including: Largemouth Bass Chain Pickerel Pumpkinseed Yellow Perch White Perch Brown bullhead Rock Bass Fishing in Wildwood Lake is limited to Southampton residents only.

Peconic River

The Peconic River is a river in Long Island's Suffolk County, New York in the United States. The river is located in the eastern end of Long Island. The Peconic River drains an area between the Harbor Hill and Ronkonkoma moraines, and flows into Flanders Bay which in turn connects to Peconic Bay east of Riverhead. The river originates in bogs and wetlands in central Long Island near the Brookhaven National Laboratory and flows eastward to the Peconic Bay.

WLIR-FM

WLIR-FM is a Christian radio station as part of the Hope Radio Network. WLIR-FM broadcasts in the Hamptons-Riverhead (Long Island, New York, USA) area. Its transmitter is currently located near East Quogue, New York. WLIR-FM was best known as an influential radio station that launched the careers of many music acts and disk jockeys from the 1970s thru the 1990s. In 1970 it changed to a Progressive Rock station before switching to a New Music/Modern Rock format in 1982.
