Hadley, New York

Hadley is a town in Saratoga County, New York, United States. The population was 1,971 at the 2000 census. The town was named after Hadley, Massachusetts. The Town of Hadley is in the northern part of the county and is west of Glens Falls.

Hadley Parabolic Bridge

The Hadley Parabolic Bridge, often referred to locally as the Hadley Bow Bridge, carries Corinth Road across the Sacandaga River in Hadley, New York, United States. It is an iron bridge dating to the late 19th century. It is the only surviving iron semi-deck lenticular truss bridge in the state, and the only extant of three known to have been built. In 1977 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Stewart's Dam

Stewart’s Dam, in Hadley, New York, on the Sacandaga River, holds back the Stewart Bridge Reservoir, one of the largest reservoirs in America to be contained by an earthen dam. Farther upstream is the Conklingville Dam which creates the Great Sacandaga Lake.

WKBE, known as 100.3 The Point, is a modern adult contemporary radio station in the United States, licensed to Warrensburg, New York, and owned by Pamal Broadcasting. The station broadcasts 24 hours a day on 100.3 MHz with 1,450 watts effective radiated power from a transmitter located on Prospect Mountain in Lake George, New York (shared with WCKM-FM, WCQL and the former location of WNYQ, now WQSH in the Albany market), and serves the Adirondack Region and the Capital District of New York.
