Frankfort is a village in Herkimer County, New York, USA. The population was 2,598 at the 2010 census. Like the town, the village is named after early settler, Lawrence (Lewis) Frank. Adirondack Scenic Railroad

The Adirondack Scenic Railroad is a tourist railway located in the Adirondack Park that operates on the tracks of the former New York Central RR Adirondack Division between Utica and Lake Placid.
