Whetstone Gulf State Park is a state park located in Lewis County, New York in the USA. The park is on the border of the towns of Turin and Martinsburg. The park is on the edge of the Tug Hill Plateau, south of Lowville. The park is built in and around a three-mile-long canyon cut into the eastern edge of the Tug Hill Plateau. The site is probably one of the most spectacular scenic vistas east of the Rocky Mountains.
