Phelps is a village in Ontario County, New York, USA. The population was 1,989 at the 2010 census. The village is named after an original proprietor, Oliver Phelps. The Village of Phelps is near the center of the Town of Phelps, and is north of Geneva, New York. A Sauerkraut Festival is held every August.

Kanadaseaga (also spelled Kanatasaka and known as Seneca Castle), was a major village of the Seneca nation of the Iroquois Confederacy in west-central New York State, United States. It was located between the northern ends of Seneca Lake and Canandaigua Lake, west of the present-day city of Geneva, New York, in the township of Seneca. It was established at least as early as 1687.
