Zurich Bog

Zurich Bog is a sphagnum bog in Arcadia, New York. Lyman Stuart and the Newark School District donated the land on 10 December 1957 to the Bergen Swamp Preservation Society which had been created in 1935 to preserve the similar Bergen-Byron Swamp. The bog has had scientific interest since the 19th century It was declared a National Natural Landmark in May 1973

Sodus Bay is a bay on the south shore of Lake Ontario, one of the Great Lakes. Sodus Bay is located in Wayne County, New York, USA. Most of the bay is in the Town of Huron, but the western part is in the Town of Sodus. Sodus Bay is sometimes been referred to as "Great Sodus Bay" to distinguish it from "Little Sodus Bay," which is east of Sodus Bay in the Town of Sterling. Sodus Bay is halfway between Rochester and Syracuse. Chimney Bluffs State Park is located in the northeast part of the bay.

Chimney Bluffs State Park

Chimney Bluffs State Park is a state park in the town of Huron in Wayne County, New York on Lake Ontario, on the eastern shore of Sodus Bay. Using its hiking trails, the intrepid visitor can enjoy unique views of large clay rock formations at the water’s edge. The park has approximately four miles of hiking trails, including a mile-long trail along the Bluffs from the West entrance to the East entrance.
