Schaghticoke (village), New York

Schaghticoke is a village in Rensselaer County, New York, USA. The population was 592 at the 2010 census. During the colonial period of 1640-1750, this area was occupied by a mixed group of Native Americans — Mohicans, who were local, and remnants of numerous New England tribes who had migrated west away from European encroachment and warfare. The Village of Schaghticoke is in the Town of Schaghticoke, near the east town line. Schaghticoke is west of the Village of Valley Falls.

Battenville, New York

Battenville is a hamlet on the south town line of Greenwich, New York, located on the Batten Kill. It is most notable as the home of Susan B. Anthony, who moved with her family to Battenville from Adams, Massachusetts, when she was six. The Susan B. Anthony Childhood House is state-owned and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Thomas McLean House and Stoops Hotel are also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Schuylerville Bridge

Schuyler Bridge, is a bridge that carries New York State Route 29 across the Hudson River east of U.S. Route 4 and NY 32 from Schuylerville in Saratoga County into Easton in Washington County. It was named for Philip Schuyler, a general in the American Revolution. Besides the bridge, NY 29 is also named the General Philip Schuyler Memorial Highway, west of Schuylerville.
