RTI International (formerly Research Triangle Institute) is a nonprofit organization, headquartered in the Research Triangle Park in North Carolina, that provides research and technical services. It was founded in 1958 by local businesses and the three North Carolina universities that form the Research Triangle region, with $500,000 in funding. Panther Creek High School (North Carolina)

Research Triangle Park

The Research Triangle Park (RTP) is the largest research park in the world. It is located near Durham, Raleigh, and Chapel Hill, in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina. A small part of the park stretches into Wake County, but the majority of the land is in Durham County.

Carpenter, North Carolina

Carpenter is a small community located in western Wake County, North Carolina. Carpenter is centered around the intersection of Carpenter-Upchurch Road and Morrisville-Carpenter Road just east of North Carolina Highway 55. Most of Carpenter has been annexed by the Town of Cary. The community was named for William Carpenter, the first settler in the area in 1865 {{#invoke:Footnotes | harvard_citation }}. Carpenter was a stop on the former Durham and Southern Railway.

The Streets at Southpoint

After much anticipation, the Streets at Southpoint opened on March 8, 2002 and receives 1 million visitors every month.
