Originally mapped in Cecil County, Maryland in 1899, more than 10 million acres (40,000 km²) of the Cecil soil series (Fine, kaolinitic, thermic Typic Kanhapludults) are now mapped in the Piedmont region of the southeastern United States. It extends from Virginia through North Carolina (where it is the state soil), South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama, with the typic Cecil pedon actually located in Franklin County, NC.

Groves Stadium (1940)

Groves Stadium, currently known as Trentini Stadium, is a stadium in Wake Forest, North Carolina, United States. It hosted the Wake Forest University Demon Deacons football team until the school moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina and Bowman Gray Stadium. Since then, the stadium has hosted the homes games of Wake Forest-Rolesville High School. The stadium held 20,000 people at its peak and was opened in 1940.

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS) is a seminary of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC), created to meet a need in the SBC's East Coast region. It was voted into existence on May 19, 1950 at the SBC annual meeting and began offering classes in the fall of 1951 on the original campus of Wake Forest University in Wake Forest, North Carolina. The undergraduate program is called The College at Southeastern. The current president is Daniel L. Akin.
