Pikeville, North Carolina

Pikeville is a town in Wayne County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 704 at the 2008 census. It is included in the Goldsboro, North Carolina Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is notable as being the home of Collier Motors, an automobile sales and service business established in 1955 that has remained an American Motors (AMC) dealership. The town is also the home of Nahunta Pork Center, a butcher shop claiming to be the largest all-pork retailer in the eastern United States.

Charles B. Aycock High School

Charles B. Aycock High School (CBA) is a public high school in Wayne County, North Carolina, United States, that opened in 1961. The school’s physical address is Pikeville, North Carolina. This area of North Carolina is near the birthplace of Governor Charles Brantley Aycock. During Governor Aycock’s term, he advocated improving North Carolina’s public schools. Even after his term as governor, he continued to work on the improvement of schools in the country.
