A suburb of Cleveland, Willowick is served by a branch of the Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library. The city's name comes from the combination of names of two adjacent cities in Lake County, Willoughby and Wickliffe. The mayor of Willowick, Ohio as of 2009 is Richard Bonde.

Classic Park

Classic Park is a stadium in Eastlake, Ohio, in suburban Cleveland. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of the Lake County Captains minor league baseball team. It was built in 2003 at a cost of $22 million and holds 7,273 people. Although not immediately apparent to non-locals, the stadium bears a corporate name. The naming rights were purchased by Classic Automotive Group, a large Cleveland-area chain of auto dealerships owned by Jim Brown.

Telshe yeshiva

Telshe yeshiva was a famous Eastern European yeshiva founded in the Lithuanian town of Telšiai. After World War II the yeshiva relocated to Wickliffe, Ohio, in the United States and is currently known as the Rabbinical College of Telshe, (commonly referred to as Telz Yeshiva or Telz in short. ) Telshe in Ohio had been one of the most prominent Haredi institutions of Torah study, until the demise of the Rabbinical College in 2007.
