Jonathan Alder

Jonathan Alder (September 17, 1773 – January 30, 1849) was an American pioneer, and the first white settler in Madison County, Ohio. As a young child living in Virginia, Alder was kidnapped by Shawnee Indians, and later adopted by a Mingo chief in the Ohio Country. He lived with the Native Americans for many years before returning to the white community. Alder settled near present-day Plain City, Ohio, where he became a farmer.

Hilliard Bradley High School (Hilliard, Ohio)

Hilliard Bradley High School is the newest high school in the Hilliard City School District in Hilliard, Ohio. It is one of three high schools in the district along with Hilliard Davidson High School and Hilliard Darby High School. The school is located at 2800 Walker Road, just north of Brown Elementary School. The mascot is the Jaguar and the school's colors are royal blue, black and silver. Bradley High School is named in honor of Raymond K.

Lake Darby is a census-designated place in Franklin County, Ohio, United States: located partly in Brown Township and partly in Prairie Township. It is more commonly known among locals as Darby Estates, which is also the name of the older housing development there, with the newer development called West Point. Gillivan, Ohio

Gillivan is an unincorporated community in Jefferson Township, Madison County, Ohio, United States. It is located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:39|59|19|N|83|20|13|W| |primary |name= }}, along U.S. Route 42, north of its intersection with Ohio State Route 29. The community was never actually laid out, but simply formed around a crossroads. As of 1915, the community contained one general store, one hardware store, one blacksmith, and only six houses.
