Rocky Fork State Park is a state park located at 9800 North Shore Drive in Highland County, Ohio, United States. Rocky Fork State Park contains the 2,080-acre Rocky Fork Lake. The lake was added to the state park system in 1950. The park has a marina, boat ramps, swimming beaches, picnic areas and hiking trails. Within the park are located two significant archaeological sites dating from the Hopewellian period: the Rocky Fork Park Group and the Rocky Fork Park Site.

Paint Creek State Park

Paint Creek State Park is a state park located in the Highland and Ross counties of the U.S. state of Ohio. The park contains a campground and a lake, created by the damming of Paint Creek. Paint Creek State Park was created in 1974. The Highlands Sanctuary, a private nature preserve, is contiguous with the park. The underlying geology of the park is limestone, and significant limestone bluffs may be seen -- and hiked to -- just below the dam.
