Geauga County is a county located in the state of Ohio, United States. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 93,389, which is an increase of 2.7% from 90,895 in 2000. It is named for a Native American word meaning 'raccoon' in the Onondaga or Seneca language, originally the name of the Grand River. The county seat is Chardon.
