Toledo Complex

The Toledo Complex is an automobile factory in Toledo, Ohio. Now owned by Chrysler, sections of the facility have operated as an automobile assembly plant since 1910, originally for Willys-Overland vehicles. The Toledo complex has assembled Jeeps since the 1940s, and comprises two factories: Toledo North and Toledo South, which itself includes the Stickney Plant and the Parkway Annex.

Lucas County, Ohio

Lucas County is a county located in the state of Ohio, United States. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 441,815, which is a decrease of 2.9% from 455,054 in 2000. Its county seat is Toledo. Lucas County was named for Robert Lucas, 12th governor of Ohio, in 1835 during his second term. Its establishment provoked the Toledo War conflict with the Michigan Territory. Lucas County is part of the Toledo Metropolitan Area.

Toledo Transmission

Toledo Transmission (also called Toledo Transmission Operations, TTO, and Powertrain Toledo) is a 2 million square feet; 151 acres General Motors transmission factory in Toledo, Ohio. The facility was founded in 1916, and has been the site for production of many of GM's Hydra-Matic transmissions since. The facility currently produces the Hydra-matic 6L80 Rear-Wheel-Drive 6-Speed and the Global Front-Wheel-Drive 6-Speed 6T40 transmissions.

Veterans' Glass City Skyway

The Veterans' Glass City Skyway, commonly referred to as the Toledo Skyway Bridge, is a cable-stayed bridge on Interstate 280 in Toledo, Ohio. After many delays, it opened in 2007. The bridge has supplanted traffic and removed associated delays from the nearby bascule bridge known as the Craig Memorial Bridge, which until its transfer to local control was one of the last remaining moveable bridges on the Interstate highway system.
