It is located three nautical miles (6 km) northwest of the central business district of Lancaster, the county seat. The airport is owned by the Fairfield County Commissioners. Liberty Union High School

Liberty Union High School is a public high school in Baltimore, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Liberty Union-Thurston Local Schools district. Their mascot is the Lions. The school colors are red and black. The current high school was built in 1988 as an addition to a previous building which is currently used as the middle school (built in the 1950s). The original Liberty Union High School was built in 1917, merging Baltimore and Basil High Schools.
