Ohio State University Radio Observatory
The Ohio State University Radio Observatory was a Kraus-type radio telescope located on the grounds of the Perkins Observatory at Ohio Wesleyan University from 1963 to 1998. Known as "Big Ear", the observatory was part of The Ohio State University's Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) project. Construction of the Big Ear began in 1956 and was completed in 1961, and it was finally turned on for the first time in 1963.

Olentangy High School is a public comprehensive secondary school located in Lewis Center, Ohio operated by the Olentangy Local School District. In 2007, the school was ranked as the 97th best high school in the U.S. by Newsweek. Powell, Ohio
Powell is a city in Delaware County, Ohio, United States. The population was 11,500 at the 2010 census. The community was first settled around 1801, two years before Ohio became a state. It was named "Middlebury" at the time, because the first settlers came from the Middlebury, Connecticut area. In 1857, Judge Thomas Powell established the first post office in the community, and the residents decided to adopt his name. Powell was finally incorporated as a municipality in 1947.
