Salt Reservations

The Salt Reservations (also known as the Salt Lands) were a collection of land tracts surrounding salt springs in Ohio and some other states that were donated to the states by the federal government early in the 19th century. The United States had acquired the lands northwest of the Ohio River at the 1783 Treaty of Paris after the American Revolutionary War, and these lands were finally open to settlement.

Windmill interchange

The windmill interchange is a four-way road interchange. The windmill serves two arterial roadways by grade separation. All turning movements are served by a right-hand exit ramp, with stop sign or traffic signal at the ramp termini. Vehicles make right and left-turn movements at the ramp intersections and are removed from the main intersection in conventional intersection design.

Jackson County is a county located in the state of Ohio, United States. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 33,225, which is an increase of 1.8% from 32,641 in 2000. Its county seat is Jackson and is named for Andrew Jackson, a hero of the War of 1812 who was subsequently elected President of the United States.
