Johnstown-Monroe High School
Johnstown-Monroe High School is a public high school in Johnstown, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Johnstown-Monroe Local School District. It was erected in 1963 and currently houses grades 9-12. The current principal is Mr. Kim Jakeway. The district superintendent is Mr. Damien Bawn. The school prides itself on its state academic "Excellent" ratings, and its high rate of student extracurricular participation. Roughly 85% the school population participate in sports and marching band.

WNKO
WNKO is an American radio station located in New Albany, Ohio. WNKO plays classic hits and calls itself "KOOL 101.7". The station is locally owned and operated by the Runnymede Corporation. WNKO began operating in 1972 and is the sister station to WHTH. The station had previously covered only the Newark, Ohio vicinity with 3000 watts of power. In 2009 WNKO filed an application to change its city of license to New Albany, Ohio, change its transmitter location, and upgrade power.

Northridge High School (Johnstown, Ohio)
Northridge High School is located in rural northwestern Licking County, Ohio, and serves several townships in that part of the county, as well as a part of southern Knox County, Ohio. It has a USPS address of Johnstown, Ohio, although it is about five miles northeast of that town. The original High School is now Alexandria Elementary. After moving from the current elementary, the High School was moved to what is now the current middle school building.
