Burlington is a census-designated place (CDP) in Lawrence County, Ohio, United States. The population was 2,794 at the 2000 census. Burlington is a part of the Huntington-Ashland, WV-KY-OH, Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). As of the 2000 census, the MSA had a population of 288,649. The community is situated between the villages of South Point and Chesapeake. Its other neighbor is Huntington, West Virginia, which lies across the Ohio River; it is connected via the West Huntington Bridge.

West Huntington Bridge

The West Huntington Bridge (officially named the Nick Joe Rahall II Bridge, also called the West End Bridge or the 17th Street West Bridge) is a two-lane, 562-foot cantilever bridge on the west side of Huntington, West Virginia. It crosses the Ohio River and carries U.S. Route 52 between State Route 7 and Interstate 64.

WKEE-FM is a Contemporary Hit Radio formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Huntington, West Virginia, serving Huntington, West Virginia, Ashland, Kentucky, and Ironton, Ohio. WKEE-FM is owned and operated by Clear Channel Communications. WKEE-FM is the heritage CHR/Top 40 station in the Huntington area, having programmed hit music as a standalone FM for over 30 years (although its Top 40 heritage goes back to the early 1960s, when the station was a simulcast of WKEE-AM 800).

Chesapeake is a village in Lawrence County, Ohio, United States. The population was 745 at the 2010 census. It lies across the Ohio River from Huntington, West Virginia, at the mouth of Symmes Creek. A bridge across the Ohio River connects Chesapeake to Huntington's downtown area. At one time, this was the only bridge connection across the Ohio River linking Ohio to Huntington. In recent years, bridges across the Ohio River connecting Ohio to Huntington's East and West sides have been built.
