Marblehead, Ohio
Marblehead is a village in Ottawa County, Ohio, United States. The population was 903 at the 2010 census. It sits at the tip of the Marblehead Peninsula, which divides Lake Erie proper from Sandusky Bay. In the summer, it is a popular vacation area because of its lake frontage, ferry service to the Lake Erie Islands, quality sport fishery, the nearby Chautauqua at Lakeside, and the Cedar Point amusement park. Marblehead is also commercially important as a major limestone producer.

Johnson's Island
Johnson's Island is a 300-acre island in Sandusky Bay, located on the coast of Lake Erie, 3 miles (5 km) from the city of Sandusky, Ohio. It was the site of a prisoner-of-war camp for Confederate officers captured during the American Civil War. Johnson's Island was the only Union prison exclusively for Southern officers but it also held regular soldiers. During its three years of operation, more than 15,000 men were incarcerated there.

Cedar Creek Mine Ride
Cedar Creek Mine Ride (commonly known as the Mine Ride) is a steel Mine train roller coaster built by Arrow Development at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. It is located in the Frontiertown section of the park and it is the second oldest operating roller coaster in the park behind Blue Streak. While many patrons mistake the coaster as being wooden, the ride is actually constructed of steel tubular track on a wooden frame.

The Magnum XL-200, also known as just Magnum, is a steel roller coaster built by Arrow Dynamics at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. When built in 1989, it was the tallest, fastest and steepest complete-circuit roller coaster in the world as well as the first hypercoaster (complete-circuit roller coaster exceeding 200 feet in height). It is considered to have started the roller coaster wars, in which amusement parks competed to build the highest and fastest roller coasters.

Top Thrill Dragster
Top Thrill Dragster is a steel accelerator roller coaster built by Intamin at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, United States. It was the sixteenth roller coaster built at the park since the Blue Streak in 1964. When built in 2003, it was the first full circuit roller coaster to exceed 400 feet in height, and was the tallest roller coaster in the world, before being surpassed by Kingda Ka in May 2005. Top Thrill Dragster, along with Kingda Ka, are the only strata coasters in existence.
