The North Olmsted City School District is the public school district that serves the city of North Olmsted, Ohio, United States. As of 2005, 4,573 students attended its nine schools. The North Olmsted City School colors are orange and black. The mascot is the Eagle. The school's fight songs are Miami U, On Wisconsin and War Eagle from Auburn University.

Ox-Cart Library
The Oxcart Library is considered to be the first circulating public library in the history of the Western Reserve. The library is located in the city of North Olmsted, Ohio. Captain Aaron Olmstead, a wealthy sea captain in the China trade out of New England, was one of 49 investors who formed a syndicate in 1795 to purchase a major part of the Western Reserve from Connecticut. He became the owner of thousands of acres from his $30,000 share of the $120,000 total land deal.
