Rocky Fork State Park

Rocky Fork State Park is a state park located at 9800 North Shore Drive in Highland County, Ohio, United States. Rocky Fork State Park contains the 2,080-acre Rocky Fork Lake. The lake was added to the state park system in 1950. The park has a marina, boat ramps, swimming beaches, picnic areas and hiking trails. Within the park are located two significant archaeological sites dating from the Hopewellian period: the Rocky Fork Park Group and the Rocky Fork Park Site.

Marshall, Ohio

Marshall is an unincorporated community in central Marshall Township, Highland County, Ohio, United States. It lies at the intersection of State Routes 124 and 506. Rocky Fork Lake, the site of Rocky Fork State Park, is located 2 miles (3 km) to the north. It lies 7 miles (11 km) east-southeast of the city of Hillsboro, the county seat of Highland County. The Marshall High School Red Flashes were the Class B State Basketball Champions in 1928.

Hillsboro Cemetery

Located in Hillsboro, Ohio, Hillsboro Cemetery is home to multiple notable interments, including baseball player Kirby White and politicians Joseph J. McDowell, John Armstrong Smith, Jacob J. Pugsley, Allen Trimble and Wilbur M. White. Once known as the Greenwood Cemetery, it was created on May 30, 1862 when the Hillsborough (old spelling) Cemetery Association of the Town of Hillsborough purchased 31 acres, 1 quarter and 25 poles of land from Allen and Rachel Trimble.
