Grover Cleveland Middle School (Zanesville, Ohio)

Grover Cleveland Middle School is a public middle school in Zanesville, Ohio. Completed in 1924 and named after President Grover Cleveland, it was the city's first junior high school. The school colors, blue and gold, were adopted during its first year of operation, and the first issue of the "Beacon," the school magazine was also published that year. The school had its first major revision in 1986. A new gymnasium was added to the school's east side.

WHIZ-TV is the NBC affiliate in Zanesville, Ohio and its media market. Although this station is somewhat overshadowed by network affiliates in the nearby Columbus, Ohio market such as WCMH-TV, WHIZ-TV provides local news to its limited local area. In addition, WHIZ-TV provides local sports programming, including local basketball games on Friday.
