Eastlake is a city in Lake County, Ohio, United States. The population was 18,577 at the 2010 census. Ted Andrzejewski is the current mayor of Eastlake. Eastlake is the site where Akron-based FirstEnergy's Eastlake Generating Station shutdown at 1:31pm EDT on August 14, 2003, eventually leading to the infamous 2003 North America blackout a few hours later.

WELW – WELW 1330 AM – is a commercial radio station licensed to Willoughby, Ohio serving Lake County and eastern parts of Greater Cleveland. WELW is a local affiliate for the Lake County Captains, Notre Dame College football, The Dave Ramsey Show, and The Laura Ingraham Show, as well as programs hosted by nationally syndicated personalities Dennis Miller and Doug Stephan.

Classic Park

Classic Park is a stadium in Eastlake, Ohio, in suburban Cleveland. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of the Lake County Captains minor league baseball team. It was built in 2003 at a cost of $22 million and holds 7,273 people. Although not immediately apparent to non-locals, the stadium bears a corporate name. The naming rights were purchased by Classic Automotive Group, a large Cleveland-area chain of auto dealerships owned by Jim Brown.
