Burlington, Ohio

Burlington is a census-designated place (CDP) in Lawrence County, Ohio, United States. The population was 2,794 at the 2000 census. Burlington is a part of the Huntington-Ashland, WV-KY-OH, Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). As of the 2000 census, the MSA had a population of 288,649. The community is situated between the villages of South Point and Chesapeake. Its other neighbor is Huntington, West Virginia, which lies across the Ohio River; it is connected via the West Huntington Bridge.

WRVC (AM)

WRVC is the oldest operating radio station in West Virginia. It was originally called WSAZ Radio, the same call letters used for Channel 3 TV when it came into being in the late 1940s, and the television station still uses that long-time call. WRVC AM & FM is located in Huntington, West Virginia and is West Virginia's oldest continually licensed station. It began operations on October 16, 1923 as WSAZ in Pomeroy, Ohio at the Chase Electric Shop. The station was moved to Huntington, W.V.

West Huntington Bridge

The West Huntington Bridge (officially named the Nick Joe Rahall II Bridge, also called the West End Bridge or the 17th Street West Bridge) is a two-lane, 562-foot cantilever bridge on the west side of Huntington, West Virginia. It crosses the Ohio River and carries U.S. Route 52 between State Route 7 and Interstate 64.
