New Miami, Ohio

New Miami is a village in St. Clair Township, located in central Butler County in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Ohio. The population was 2,249 at the 2010 census. New Miami is a small village sitting north of Hamilton, Ohio. Originally known as Coke Otto, Otto or Kokotto for its large coal field and steel mill. Its unique southern like culture is created by the large amount of Appalachian decedents.

WMOH is a radio station broadcasting a mixed news/talk and sports talk format. Licensed to Hamilton, Ohio, USA, the station serves the Cincinnati area. The station is currently owned by Vernon R. Baldwin, Inc. and features programing from Yahoo! Sports Radio and Salem Communications. AM 1450 is the flagship station for Miami Redhawks football and basketball, and the Cincinnati affiliate for the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Butler County, Ohio

Butler County is a county located in the state of Ohio, United States. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 368,130, which is an increase of 10.6% from 332,807 in 2000. Its county seat is Hamilton. It is named for General Richard Butler, who died in 1791 fighting Indians in northern Ohio. Butler's army marched out of Fort Hamilton, where the city of Hamilton now stands. It is also home to Miami University, an Ohio public university.

Hamilton High School (Hamilton, Ohio)

Hamilton High School is a public high school in Hamilton, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Hamilton City School District. It was the school in which then-President George W. Bush signed the No Child Left Behind Act on January 8, 2002. The present building on Eaton Avenue opened as Taft High School in 1959. Taft served the west side of Hamilton while Garfield High School on Fair Avenue served the east. Both were consolidated to form Hamilton High in 1981 at Taft.
