Monclova Christian Academy

Monclova Christian Academy is a private, Christian school in Monclova, Ohio, United States, southwest of Toledo. It is a ministry of Monclova Road Baptist Church. Monclova Christian Academy was founded in 1999 by Russell Merrin, pastor of Monlcova Road Baptist Church. Throughout that first year, only 50 students were enrolled. The First graduate of Monclova Christian Academy was Brian Keel. He graduated alone.

Siege of Fort Meigs

The Siege of Fort Meigs took place during the War of 1812, in northwestern Ohio. A small British army with support from Indians attempted to capture the recently-constructed fort to forestall an American offensive against Detroit, which the British had captured the previous year. An American sortie and relief attempt failed with heavy casualties, but the British failed to capture the fort and were forced to raise the siege.

Maumee is a city in Lucas County, Ohio, United States. It is a suburb of Toledo along the Maumee River. The population was 14,286 at the 2010 census. Maumee was also declared an All-America City by the National Civic League in June 2006.
