Renovo is a borough in Clinton County, Pennsylvania, 28 miles northwest of Lock Haven. Deposits of bituminous coal and fire clay are in the region. In 1900, 4,082 people lived there, and in 1910, 4,621 lived there. In the 2000 census, the borough population was 1,318 and held steady for the 2010 census at 1,228.

Clinton County is a county located in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. As of 2010, the population was 39,238. It is included in the Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, Micropolitan Statistical Area. Its name is in honor of the seventh Governor of New York State, DeWitt Clinton. It was created on June 21, 1839, from parts of Centre and Lycoming Counties. Its county seat is at Lock Haven.
