Bridgeport, Pennsylvania

Bridgeport is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, 18 miles (29 km) north of Philadelphia on the Schuylkill River. The old-time industries were paper, flour, cotton, and woolen mills, steel works, brickyards, etc. Bridgeport is six miles (10 km) east of Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. In 1777, during the American Revolutionary War, General George Washington and the Continental Army passed through Bridgeport on their way to their winter encampment in Valley Forge.

Norristown Transportation Center

Norristown Transportation Center is a two-level multimodal public transportation regional hub located in Norristown, Pennsylvania and operated by SEPTA. It opened in 1989 to replace the older Norristown High Speed Line (Route 100) terminus one block away at Main and Swede Streets, and integrated the former Reading Company DeKalb Street Norristown railroad station (built 1933) into its structure.

Swedeland, Pennsylvania

Swedeland is a small unincorporated community in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States, in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Originally founded as "Matsunk" by Swedish settlers in 1710, the name was changed to Swedeland sometime in the late 19th century. Situated along the Schuylkill River and the Matsunk creek it was originally occupied by about 19 homes. By the mid-19th century Abraham Supplee operated a factory producing Kentucky Jean, employing some 25 hands.

Hughes Park (SEPTA station)

Hughes Park Station is an interurban rapid transit station on the SEPTA Norristown High Speed Line (Route 100). The station is located at Yerkes Road and Crooked Lane in Upper Merion Township, Pennsylvania. All trains stop at Hughes Park. Trains known as the Hughes Park Express terminate here and operate to 69th Street, skipping certain stops along the way. This station is in zone 2 of the two fare zones of the Norristown High Speed Line.
