Pocono Mountain West High School

Pocono Mountain West High School is a large, rural high school located in Pocono Summit, Pennsylvania, in the Pocono region of Northeast Pennsylvania. It is part of the Pocono Mountain School District and opened in 2002 to accommodate the growing population of the area. Before 2002, all high school students in the district attended one school called Pocono Mountain High School.

Stillwater Lake (Pennsylvania)

Stillwater Lake is a reservoir that covers approximately 315 acres . The lake is located in Pocono Summit, Pennsylvania at an elevation of 1,811 feet . Feed by Dotter's Run, Hawkeye Run, Pocono Summit Creek, and several underground springs, the lake flows out to Lake Naomi via Tunkhannock Creek. There are several Tunkhannock Creeks in the Poconos. This one merges with the Tobyhanna at Pocono Lake. The Tobyhanna flows into the Lehigh, and ultimately into Delaware Bay.

Minsi Trails Council

Minsi Trails Council is a council of the Boy Scouts of America that serves Scouts of eastern Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley and Pocono regions as well as parts of western New Jersey. The council serves six-counties: Lehigh Northampton, Monroe, Carbon, Luzerne, and Warren counties. Minsi Trails Council serves nearly 17,000 youth through the leadership of 5,500 adult volunteers.
