Forest City is situated at the corner of Susquehanna County, Lackawanna County and Wayne County, Pennsylvania and is designated by a marker which is located in the Forest City Industrial Park. Forest City is 4 avenues by 10 blocks as the 'main city' with a small surrounding suburb housing 1,911 in the 2010 census, with 87% of the population living 'in town'.

Spring Glen Synagogue

Spring Glen Synagogue is located along Old US 209 in the hamlet of the same name, part of the Town of Wawarsing in Ulster County, New York, USA. It was one of the first established in a Jewish community in the Catskill region, and is still in use today. Sam Meyerson, the region's first Jewish resident, bought land in the area shortly after 1900.

State Correctional Institution – Waymart

State Correctional Institution – Waymart is a minimum-security correctional facility located outside of Waymart, Pennsylvania in the extreme northeast corner of the commonmwealth. SCI Waymart also houses a unit (Forensic Treatment Unit) for mentally disabled males needing psychiatric care and treatment. The facility is located on the site of the former Farview State Hospital.

Waymart Wind Farm

Waymart Wind Farm is the second largest wind farm in Pennsylvania, United States. It consists of 43 GE 1.5 MW wind turbines, with a total net capacity of 64.5 MW. The project is located in Wayne County, Pennsylvania. The wind farm was developed by Atlantic Renewable Energy and constructed by NextEra Energy Resources, based in Florida. Energy from the wind farm is sold to Exelon for distribution in the Mid-Atlantic region.
