Upper Providence Township is a census-designated place and township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States, located around and north of the borough of Media, between Ridley Creek and Crum Creek. The population was 10,142 at the 2010 census. Ridley Creek State Park is inside the township.

It is served by trolleys originating at 69th Street Terminal in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. The stop, which is west of the historic Media Armory is the fourth to last station stop on the Route 101 line.
