Ross Township is a township of the first class in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 31,105 at the 2010 census. In September 2007, Ross Township adopted the Strong Mayor/Weak Council form of government allowed by Pennsylvania statutes for townships of its class. The township is part of the North Hills School District and participates in the multi-municipality Northland Public Library.

Charles Taze Russell
Charles Taze Russell (February 16, 1852 – October 31, 1916), or Pastor Russell, was a prominent early 20th century Christian restorationist minister from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, and founder of what is now known as the Bible Student movement, from which Jehovah's Witnesses and numerous independent Bible Student groups emerged after his death. Beginning in July 1879 he began publishing a monthly religious journal, Zion's Watch Tower and Herald of Christ's Presence.

The Shoppes at Northway, formerly Northway Mall, is an ailing enclosed shopping mall located in Ross Township, north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. The mall began as a strip mall called Northway Shopping Center in 1953; it was re-opened on August 1, 1962, as Northway Mall, the first indoor mall in the state of Pennsylvania. Currently, the mall features approximately 15 shops, with Dick's Sporting Goods, Marshalls,and PetSmart, as its anchor stores.
