Gilbertsville is a census-designated place (CDP) in northwest Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located in Douglass Township at the junction of Routes 73 and 100. The population was 4,832 at the 2010 census, and the ZIP code is 19525. The name is also applied to an indeterminate adjacent section of New Hanover Township served by the Gilbertsville Post Office, and in fact the New Hanover Township offices are located in an area considered to be part of Gilbertsville.

Zern's Farmer's Market
Zern's Farmers Market is a year-round farmers market located in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania. It sits along Philadelphia Avenue near Bartman Avenue, close to Pennsylvania Route 100. Two buildings are located on the property: a lowercase "t" shaped main building and an "L" shaped (and smaller) enclosed flea market building. When weather permits, outdoor vending areas are set up in the space between both edifices in an area known affectionately as "the Midway".

Grandview Speedway
Grandview Speedway is a one third-mile automobile race track located just east of Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania, United States. Featuring moderately high banks and a wide racing surface, it is suitable for close racing and passing. The track opened in 1963 and was built by Forrest Rogers. The track was originally planned as a ¼ mile (402 meters) asphalt track in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Eventually this was changed to a larger dirt track in Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania.

Rhoads Opera House Fire
The Rhoads Opera House Fire occurred on January 13, 1908 in Boyertown, Pennsylvania. The opera house caught fire during a church-sponsored stage play. The fire started when a kerosene lamp was knocked over, lighting gasoline from a stereoscopic machine. The stage and auditorium were located on the 2nd floor and all auxiliary exits were either unmarked or locked. One fire escape was available but unable to be accessed through a locked window above a 3 foot sill.
