The Old Princeton School

The Old Princeton School is a former school building located in the Village of Princeton outside of New Castle, Pennsylvania. It was constructed in 1876, 35 years after the Village of Princeton was founded. The school has been operated as both a high school and an elementary school during its years of operation. The building and surrounding property was purchased by Carlson Mining around 1977 for use as an office for its operations.

Lawrence County, Pennsylvania

Lawrence County is a county located in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. In 2010, its population was 91,108. The county was added to the Pittsburgh metropolitan statistical area in 2003. The county seat is New Castle. Lawrence County was created on March 20, 1849, from parts of Beaver and Mercer counties. It was named after the USS Lawrence, Oliver Hazard Perry's original flagship at the Battle of Lake Erie during the War of 1812.
