Wyncote (pronounced "Win-coat") is a census-designated place (CDP) in Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 3,044 at the 2010 census. Wyncote forms a border with the City of Philadelphia along Cheltenham Avenue, and it is about 7 miles from Center City Philadelphia. Wyncote is part of the Delaware Valley.

Reconstructionist Rabbinical College

The Reconstructionist Rabbinical College (RRC), is located in Wyncote, Pennsylvania, about 10 miles (16 km) north of central Philadelphia. RRC is the only seminary affiliated with Reconstructionist Judaism. It is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. RRC has an enrollment of approximately 80 students in rabbinic and other graduate programs. As of June 3, 2012 the Reconstructionist movement was restructured.

Cheltenham High School

Cheltenham High School is a public high school in Wyncote, in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania, located half a mile from the border of the City of Philadelphia and 8 miles from City Hall. Serving grades 9 through 12, Cheltenham is the senior high school in the School District of Cheltenham Township. It is preceded by Cedarbrook Middle School, Elkins Park Middle School, and four elementary schools: Cheltenham Elementary, Wyncote Elementary, Myers Elementary and Glenside Elementary.
