Wickford is a small village in the town of North Kingstown, Rhode Island, United States, which is named after Wickford in Essex, England. Wickford is located on the west side of Narragansett Bay, just about a 20 minute drive across two bridges from Newport, Rhode Island. The village is built around one of the most well-protected natural harbors on the eastern seaboard, and features one of the largest collections of 18th century dwellings to be found anywhere in the northeast.

Wickford Junction is a commuter rail station in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, United States on the Northeast Corridor, extending the Providence/Stoughton Line of the MBTA Commuter Rail south from Providence. It serves local commuters to Providence, Rhode Island and Boston, Massachusetts. The new station, which opened on April 23, 2012, has a large park and ride garage and was part of a $336 million project that included the new T. F. Green Airport station.

Fox Island (Rhode Island)
Fox Island is an island in Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island, in the United States of America. It lies between Conanicut Island and North Kingstown just south of Wickford Village. The island is a part of the town of North Kingstown. The Native Americans called the island "Nanaquonset" (also "Nonequasset" or "Sonanoxet. " Randall Holden and Samuel Gorton bought the island from the Indians in 1659. It is currently privately owned.

Jamestown Verrazzano Bridge
The Jamestown Verrazzano Bridge (often misspelled Jamestown-Verrazano Bridge) spans the West Passage of Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island, United States. It is part of Route 138 and is part of the route to Newport, Rhode Island for traffic heading northbound from Interstate 95. The bridge is a post-tensioned, double-cell concrete box girder bridge with four travel lanes separated by a concrete Jersey barrier (the original bridge was dangerous with two undivided lanes).
