Rachal, Texas

Rachal is an unincorporated community in south central Brooks County, Texas, United States. It is located near the intersection of U.S. Highway 281 and FM 755, approximately twenty-one miles south of Falfurrias. The community was established in 1913 and was named for E.R. Rachal, the first Brooks County tax assessor. Today, it exists as a dispersed community of nearly forty residents and a few businesses.
