Fort Worth Water Gardens

The Fort Worth Water Gardens, built in 1974, is located on the south end of downtown Fort Worth between Houston and Commerce Streets next to the Fort Worth Convention Center. The 4.3 acre (1.7 hectare) Water Gardens were designed by noted New York architects Philip Johnson and John Burgee and were dedicated to the City of Fort Worth by the Amon G. Carter Foundation. The urban park is frequently billed as a "cooling oasis in the concrete jungle" of downtown.

Fort Worth Convention Center

The Fort Worth Convention Center (formerly known as the Tarrant County Convention Center), is a convention center and indoor arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The complex opened on September 30, 1968, and was expanded in 1983, 2002 and 2003. It includes an 11,200-seat multi-purpose arena. During the mid-1990s, the building was home to the Fort Worth Fire and Fort Worth Brahmas ice hockey teams, as well as the Arena Football League's Fort Worth Cavalry.

Fort Worth Intermodal Transportation Center

The Fort Worth Intermodal Transportation Center (ITC) is a Trinity Railway Express commuter rail and Amtrak intercity rail station located in Fort Worth, Texas at the corner of 9th and Jones Streets, on the northeast side of downtown Fort Worth. TRE service began on December 3, 2001, serving the Fort Worth Convention Center, the Fort Worth Water Gardens, Sundance Square, Bass Performance Hall and Tarrant County government facilities. Amtrak's Texas Eagle and Heartland Flyer serve the station.

Bass Performance Hall

The Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, Texas is located in downtown Fort Worth near Sundance Square, occupies a whole city block, and was opened in 1998. It was built entirely with private funds and seats 2,056 people . The European opera house-inspired limestone structure has been called the "crown jewel of downtown Fort Worth". It was designed by David M. Schwarz/Architectural Services, Inc. and is characteristic of the classic European opera house form.
