Kleberg County, Texas

Kleberg County is a county located in the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2010 census, its population was 32,061. The county seat is Kingsville and it is part of the Kingsville Micropolitan Statistical Area. The county is named for Robert J. Kleberg, an early settler. Most of the county's land lies within the famed King Ranch, which also extends into neighboring counties. Kleberg County was organized in 1913.

Ricardo, Texas

Ricardo is a small unincorporated community in Kleberg County, Texas, United States. It is basically a "slow down" on HWY 77 between Kingsville and Riviera. It consists of a Farmers Co-Op, a convenience store and an elementary/junior high school. The school's mascot is a Yellow Jacket. Since there is no high school, students either attend Kaufer High School in Riviera or H.M. King High School in Kingsville.
