Wilson, Texas

Wilson is a city in Lynn County, Texas, United States. The town was established in 1912 by William Green of Shiner. Green intended to settle this part of Texas with German emigrant farmers on old Wilson County School lands located in Lynn County, hence the town's name.

Lynn County, Texas

Lynn County is a county located in the U.S. state of Texas. Its seat is Tahoka. Lynn County is one of thirty prohibition, or entirely dry, counties in the state of Texas. . As of the 2010 census, its population was 5,915. The county has two historical museums, the O'Donnell Heritage Museum, with a Dan Blocker room, located in O'Donnell and the Tahoka Pioneer Museum in Tahoka.

KJTV-TV is the Fox-affiliated television station serving Lubbock, Texas. It is owned by Ramar Communications, and is the flagship property of the locally-based media corporation. KJTV was a charter station for its network, having broadcast the network since its launch on October 9, 1986. It broadcasts on UHF digital channel 35. The station also operates a low-powered sister station on channel 32.1, KJTV-CD, branded as FOX 34 NewsNOW, also on KJTV's digital 34.2 subchannel.
