Randado is an unincorporated community in Jim Hogg County, Texas, United States. It is located at the junction of State Highway 16 and FM 649 in west central Jim Hogg County, approximately 25 miles southwest of Hebbronville. According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had an estimated population of 15 in 2000.

It is located at the junction of Farm Roads 649 and 3073 in northwestern Jim Hogg County, approximately 17 miles southwest of Hebbronville. According to the Handbook of Texas, the community was probably named after Jim Hogg County's first sheriff, Oscar Thompson. Thompsonville's history dates back to the 1910s. The first commercial oil well in the county began producing oil on April 17, 1921.
