Mountain View High School (Utah)

Mountain View High School (abbreviated to MVHS) is a high school located in Orem, Utah and part of Utah County's Alpine School District. The school first opened its doors in the 1980-81 school year. Every year, students arrive at its doors from Orem Junior High and Lakeridge Junior High. Adjacent to the school is an LDS seminary building for students who choose to devote a study hour to religion.

Utah County Academy of Sciences

Utah County Academy of Sciences (UCAS, pronounced you-kass) is a small charter high school in association with Utah Valley University (UVU) in Orem, Utah. Students go to UCAS from many school districts in the surrounding area including Nebo School District, Alpine School District, and Provo School District. This school is located on the northern end of UVU campus and classes are scheduled to meet both college and high school graduation requirements.

Orem, Utah

Orem is a city in Utah County, Utah, United States, in the north-central part of the state. It is adjacent to Provo, Lindon, and Vineyard and is about 45 miles south of Salt Lake City. Orem is one of the principal cities of the Provo-Orem, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area, which includes all of Utah and Juab counties. The population was 84,324 at the 2000 census, while the 2010 population was 88,328 making it the fifth-largest city in Utah. Utah Valley University is located in Orem.

UCCU Center

The UCCU Center, formerly known as the David O. McKay Events Center, is a 8,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Orem, Utah. It was built in 1996 and is home to the Utah Valley University Wolverines basketball team. It is also the former home of Utah Jazz's now defunct NBA Development League affiliate team, the Utah Flash. The UCCU Center has hosted several High School State tournaments, including boy's basketball, wrestling, & drill.
