Hartford, Vermont

Hartford is a town in Windsor County in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is located on the New Hampshire border, at the intersection of Interstates 89 and 91. It is the site of the confluence of the White River and the Connecticut River; the Ottauquechee River also flows through the town. The town is composed of five unincorporated villages: Hartford, Quechee, West Hartford, White River Junction and Wilder. The population was 9,952 at the 2010 census.

Gile Mountain

Gile Mountain is located in Windsor County, Vermont, along the border between the towns of Norwich and Sharon, with the summit located in Norwich. The mountain reaches a height of 1,873 feet above sea level. Relatively unimposing considering its height, the true summit cannot easily be seen from the surrounding territory, despite the prominent fire tower atop its summit. The tower is easily reached by taking Turnpike Road. out of Norwich to the parking area near its terminus.

Tip Top Building

The Tip Top Building is a 45,000 square foot (4,200 m²) arts and creative business center located in downtown White River Junction, Vermont. The building is actually a complex of several buildings dating from the 1880s, when the Smith Baking Company operated it as a commercial bakery. In 1910, the Vermont Baking Company purchased Smith Baking Company and erected what is now the center of the complex.
